Tucked into a bend of the Barren River in Bowling Green, Kentucky, Garvin Lane isn’t just a road – it's a legacy.
It’s where the Garvin family lived boldly, loved loudly, and sowed the seeds of what would become generations of creativity, community, and celebration.
From horseback rides to the country club to chasing an elephant named Blondie around the racetrack, life on Garvin Lane was anything but ordinary.
Years ago, David Garvin planted saplings along the road to his home, and with time, care, and love, those trees grew strong roots – right alongside his family.
There were birthdays and bashes, gatherings and gifts, each day a new opportunity to celebrate life together.
In their community, Charlotte Garvin built a reputation as a legendary host, and instilled in her children that same spirit of living – and giving – with joy.
Rooted in this tradition, founders Kim Garvin Ferrier and Todd Ferrier took the spirit of Garvin Lane – its warmth, whimsy, and bold approach to life – and began planting saplings of their own.
What started as a needlepoint shop in Santa Monica quickly grew into Lifeguard Press, a global community of official brands and partners built with intention, integrity, and joy.
Yet there was still more celebration to share, not just in our own community, but with everybody – with you.
Garvin Lane is just that: it's our way of sharing the fruits of our creative partnerships with everyone seeking to bring more joy into their lives.
